I am enamored of Frida Kahlo. Ever since childhood, I have been fixated by her. Another reviewer disclosed on the presence of sapphic images. Considering that Frida was openly bisexual, I think Vicci demonstrated a light hand on her lesbian liaisons. I find it remarkable that someone with grotesque physical pain could demonstrate a sex life to the capacity Frida lived. Spinal pain, atrophied leg, ulcers on her foot... there were few, if any, body parts that weren't damaged.
All of that and she still managed to live. An exceptional woman.
