Resplendent portraits in sepia form the visual collective of this book. Each sage provides a quote on any issue of merit. Some women elected to share the photograph with another woman, a relative or a friend. All female subjects but some had not crossed the threshold into 60. I anticipated a lengthy profile of each woman. Perhaps Joyce Tenneson prefers spare prose. I applaud this work.
