Post-Thanksgiving weekend

I completed two books: 1) On Rue Tatin: Living and Cooking in a French Town by Susan Herrmann Loomis and 2) Turning Japanese by MariNaomi

I would give both of these 4/5.

Black Friday gratitude

I am grateful that I woke up this morning. 

I am grateful that I live in a home that has walls in every direction and a sturdy roof.

I am grateful that I am literate.

I am grateful that I have been gifted with the skill of expressing myself creatively.

I am grateful that I have not suffered acts of extreme violence. 

I am grateful that I am still optimistic about the years to come.

I am grateful that my mom and my auntie are still alive.

I am grateful that my cousin Trina has not succumbed to cancer.

I am grateful to be a child of God.
