A book that breaks life with gentle candor. I love this book!!! I won't spoil it but Miss Becker illustrates the varying experiences of adapting to foreign soil. No one is too good or too wise. They suffer yet they ascend. The sparseness of the prose initially rattled me but I grew fond of it. Thank you, Harmony!!!
