I won't spoil the details but I have to admit that I wasn't entirely satisfied with this film. It comes from Italy in the city of Bologna. Very beautifully shot yet humorous. The ending left me disappointed. I am glad that I  only rented this and not bought it.

I have been reading several articles and blogs on the issues of sex, love and dating. There is so much confusion and conflict about these topics that sometimes I think it would be easier to maintain a state of platonic relationships. On one blog, a man suggested that a woman wait one week before going to bed with someone. He completely disregards disease, pregnancy, the potential "Fatal Attraction", or anything undesirable. One thing is certain: know who you are and stay in growth mode. Otherwise, it is simple to fall into a cesspool.

There is a site called BookMooch that permits individuals to send books for free. All that is paid is the postage. I am a member of the site as ladykhalia. I send books within the United States because international postage is just too costly. ( Although in the early stages I did send internationally.) 

I encourage any book lover to consider this site.               

Librarian, could you help me find....

I have acquired a new goal: to work as a professional librarian. I love literature and I am very knowledgeable about authors so I think this would be a great profession for me. I do need a Master's in Library Science to accomplish this. Who would think that there is a Master's in Library Science? I am not complaining; I just didn't think a Master's for that existed.In more near news, I am going to volunteer at the Los Angeles Film Festival, hopefully for a few days. Wish me luck!!

Decisions, Decisions

I am here at my desk ,determined to get out for an interesting evening. I am very relieved to say that I have a strong notion of where I want to go. Not just for tonight, but for this week.
